I’m an animal lover living on a small farm in Iowa navigating through life’s challenges, special moments, and adventures one step at a time—and documenting almost everything along the way over on my Instagram, @carlykulzer.

My husband and I moved to an acreage, now called Fur Fam Farm, where our rescues can live out their lives in peace. Our current residents include two dogs, six cats, and 10 chickens who we love very much. My mission is to use the farm as a space to rescue, rehabilitate, and advocate for animals of all shapes and sizes with the help of my dear friend, Jessica Kelly.

By day, I am an experienced e-commerce writer with over five years under my belt writing for some of the most well-known brands in the world. My byline can be found at People, InStyle, Reader’s Digest, Real Simple, Better Homes & Gardens, Food & Wine, Travel + Leisure, Parade, and more. I enjoy covering a variety of topics across several categories, with my favorite being pets content as I have many connections in the field.

At night, you can catch me going live on my Twitch channel, @queenkulzer, where I stream a variety of games, host community nights, and showcase my artwork. I love meeting and chatting with all types of people and have made many amazing friends along the way.

In my free-time I love being creative and doing all sorts of crafts. You can find some of my artwork including stickers, bookmarks, faux floral arrangements, and ceramics over at the Mylah & Mav Etsy shop and on the @mylahandmav Instagram page. I also write to two pen pals regularly, practice the art of calligraphy, make my own homemade recycled paper, and create junk journal spreads.
