My All-Time Favorite Smoothie Recipe
Once you try it you’ll be just as addicted as I am.
Is there really anything better than starting your day with a refreshing smoothie? Unless you’re a coffee enthusiast, the answer is no.
Sure, you could hit up your local Smoothie King but if you’re searching for a tasty recipe you can make at home, you’re in for a treat.
These are the ingredients you’ll need:
1 Cup Frozen Strawberries
1 Ripe Banana
1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1/4 Cup Whole Grain Oats
1/4 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
If your blender has a hard time cutting through frozen fruit, I suggest softening the strawberries in the microwave for about 30 seconds before adding them in. And depending on the consistency you like, you can add more or less almond milk.
I love making this drink in the morning before heading to work. It’s a relatively healthy breakfast that keeps me full and energized until lunchtime. I also like pairing it with a homemade granola bar for a little something extra—stay tuned for that recipe!
Positive vibes always,
